No Knead Cheese Bread

Sliced Cheese Bread

This no knead cheese bread is packed full of cheese, garlic, onions and parsley making one heck of a punch in flavor for a quick homemade bread. It's super easy to make and requires know kneading proof time. Bake, slice and slather with a healthy dose of butter and enjoy. This bread will make your house smell amazing too. Ingredients:

1 Tsp Dry Parsley

1/8 Tsp Garlic Powder

1/8 Tsp Onion Powder

1 3/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour , spooned and leveled

1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar

1 Tbsp Baking Powder

1/2 Tsp Salt

3 Cups Shredded Medium Cheddar Cheese

1 Cup Whole Milk

1 Large Egg

1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter , melted


Butter Topping:

1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter , melted

1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder

1/8 Tsp Salt

Pinch of Onion Powder

1/8 Tsp of Dried Parsley

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  • Spray your 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside. (Be sure to coat the entire pan)

  • In a large bowl, whisk together your flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.

  • Add the cheese tossing it all together until coated in the flour mixture. Set aside.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk your milk and eggs together, then pour it into the dry mixture. Stir until combined Add in the melted butter mixing until everything is combined well.

  • Drop the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top pressing it into the pan.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  • While the bread is baking, make the topping. Start by whisking together the butter, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and dried parsley, set aside.

  • Remove your finished bread from the oven and immediately brush the top of your bread with the butter topping. Let the bread sit for 5 minutes in the pan, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Slice and eat as is, or try toasting it in your toaster oven. You may have some extra butter mixture left over to smother a few slices with as well.
