Broccoli and cheese sauce

Smooth, creamy, cheesy goodness, this "silky smooth cheese sauce" is the perfect companion for broccoli, carrots, potato's or with the addition of more spices, pasta. Cheese can turn something ordinary, into something extraordinary and something healthy, into a crave worthy comfort food. If you need a magic trick to get your kids to eat there vegetables, look no further then cheese! This cheese sauce recipe is a classic recipe that I'm sure has been around for many years. My mom made this sauce for us growing up, and I have carried this on to my family to enjoy. Now I pass it on to you.

TIP: Resist the urge to aggressivley whisk the milk once added to the rue. This will separate the fats in the milk and create a gritty sauce. If you don't cook the flour long enough, this will also

create an unpleasant texture in the sauce. Smooth and creamy is the goal. Ingredients: 1 Cup Milk 2 Tbsp Butter 2 Tbsp Flour Pinch of Salt and Pepper 2 Cups shredded medium cheddar
