This creamy pasta dish is super flavorful with beef broth, spaghetti sauce, garlic, onions and cheese, the sauce it simple but amazing. The best part here is you don't need any fancy ingredients and it can be made in one pot. I randomly came up with this concoction, but it wont be a random choice for dinner anymore. Something tells me this will become a special request meal. The entire family loved it including the kids who had several helpings. Not going to lie, I definitely over ate. Sometimes the best things are made simply.
Ingredients: 1 1/2lb ground beef pork mix 1 can spaghetti sauce 680ml (I prefer Hunts thick and rich) 1 carton beef broth 900ml 2 large onions, diced 6 cloves of garlic, minced 2 cups shredded medium cheddar cheese Salt and pepper to taste 4 cups penne noodles Directions: - Sauté diced onions to sweat them, add beef and pork mix and sauté with onions until cooked. Add minced garlic. - Add 1 can spaghetti sauce and carton of beef broth. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 to combine flavors. Taste and add salt and pepper if desired. - Cook noodles in salted water for 2 minutes only to remove some of the starch. Drain and add to sauce and continue cooking until noodle are al dante. - Once cooked. Turn off the heat and add shredded cheese and stir it together. - Serve hot and top with an extra sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
